This song is an aggressive one for us. When we wrote it, We had the idea of writing a Balance and Composure type of song. Lyrically, the song is about a loved one that continues to go down a really dark path irregardless of the collateral damage it causes on everyone around them. The end is a giant four part tapping solo for me on the guitar. When we recorded it, my finger had swollen up cause we had recorded it so many times to perfect it. We wanted to create something at the end that was like this band called Cloudkicker. I love the way it turned out! It has a huge sound brave ending for us. I like it!
