When we wrote this, we decided to treat it as if it were the very last piece of noise we would ever make as a band, if the record didn't do very well after it was released. It's a song for anyone who is still listening and wondering what happened if we aren't able to make another record. A requiem, if you will? The lyrics are all observations I made over the dozens of funerals I attended while we were writing Existence. At the end it asks the listener if any of the things we just talked about on this record held any relevance to them at all? I Kind of look at this song as the suicide note of the band, not that we're planning on hanging it up or anything....just that we had given absolutely everything we had at the time to make this record happen. I have a hard time listening to this one still.
